Largest diamond found in North America on display in New York

NEW YORK CITY, New York -- The largest diamond discovered in North America is now dazzling New York City.

The 552-carat yellow diamond was found in Canada's Northwest Territories by miners at Dominion Diamond Mines.

It is the seventh-largest diamond ever found.

The diamond is about the size of a chicken egg.
