Lake Conroe reopens to motorized boats

CONROE, TX (KTRK) -- Lake Conroe back open to motorized boats after closing temporarily because of submerged and floating debris.

The San Jacinto River Authority says normal boating activities could begin at 8am today.

Boaters are advised to use extra caution because the lake is still above normal pool level.
