HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Overwhelmed by kittens, Houston's BARC shelter is asking for help in finding a home for the more than 200 kittens.
The shelter says the amount of kittens are the most they've seen and the amount coming in won't slow down.
"We really need some help right now," the shelter said.
Kitten season lasts all year long in the city of Houston. BARC says the bigger increase usually comes in the spring and summer months. The adoption fee is $20 and includes spay and neuter surgery, micro chip, rabies vaccination and one year pet license.
"We want to do everything we possibly can to get them into forever homes," Ashtyn Rivet said.
The mobile adoption truck will be back Thursday at the PetSmart Store on Taylor Street from 11am to 5pm.
