Watch as firefighters rescue kittens from scene of a fire

When firefighters in Turlock, Calif., responded to the scene of a fire, they discovered four little kittens buried under a pile of wood.

The fire had started near Main Street and was threatening a home from outside, the fire department wrote on Facebook. The rescue workers extinguished the fire and discovered four kittens under a pile of burning wood rounds.

The firefighters cleaned off the tiny felines, and the kittens' mother soon returned to the scene.
