Kingwood man arrested for allegedly stealing from employer

KINGWOOD, TX -- A Kingwood man faces a felony theft charge after he was accused of allegedly stealing more than $200,000 from a company where he was working.

David Kirkland, 49, of Kingwood, was arrested on Sept. 19 by the Harris County Sheriff's Office.

According to court documents, "Kirkland unlawfully appropriated, by acquiring and otherwise exercising control over property, namely cash money, of the value of over $200,000, with the intent to deprive the complainant of the property."
