Comedian Kevin Hart draws massive crowd to Houston 5K run

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Nearly 2,000 runners converged on Downtown Houston for a run with comedian Kevin Hart this morning.

Kevin teamed up with Nike's run club for this morning's 5K through the Bayou City.

The event sold out in seconds after Hart put out the invite on Twitter.

Hart became king of the hashtags through the event on Twitter with #RunWithHart trending this morning on social media.

Hart said on Twitter he was working toward a personal best in the 5K. It's unclear if he accomplished his best time.

Hart was in town for his "What Now" tour performances at Toyota Center.
