A juggling show like no other
Steve Campion takes you behind the scenes of the thrilling show at Wortham Theater

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Two comedic juggles, known as The Passing Zone, plan a return to Houston Friday night. The last time, the jugglers performed in the city was about a decade ago. On Thursday, Eyewitness News received a sneak peek of the family friendly show involving flying swords, chainsaws, and juggling.

The duo, Jon Wee and Owen Morse, started the gig 26 years ago. Both told us they started juggling as a hobby at a young age.

"It's treating it like a sport where ... when I was a teenager like almost every day after school I would go to the gym and practice juggling for hours," said Wee.

In the show, the jugglers dazzle with clubs tossing them both and forth like candy.

"My favorite performance is the leap frog routine where we get somebody from the audience, where we set them on the stage, and leap over them with some dangerous items," said Morse.

Friday's night performance of "The Passing Zone Saves the World!" is at the Wortham Center in Downtown Houston. For tickets, visit their website http://spahouston.org/show?ShowId=105.
