FORT WORTH, TX -- The seating arrangements for a Jimmy Buffett concert in North Texas depended on what fans drove to the venue.
Buffett on Thursday night performed at the Coyote Drive-In Theater in Fort Worth. The sold-out show was also offered at dozens of digitally outfitted drive-ins across the country.
Organizers of the "Live at the Drive-In" outdoor show touted the event as a great way to see the singer and songwriter in the comfort of their own cars and trucks.
Some in the crowd of about 1,300 stayed in or atop their parked vehicles. Others crowded a standing-room area in front of the stage, as Buffett sang while barefoot and wearing a T-shirt.
Buffett on Saturday night performs at a more traditional venue, Toyota Stadium in Frisco.
