HUMBLE, TX -- The Humble Police Department is investigating an armed robbery at the Shell Station located in the 1200 block of Atascocita Road near Wilson Road in Humble.

Officers responded to the location around 12:40 a.m. on Sunday, Jan. 25 where the victim, who was working as a clerk, said that one white male entered the gas station, jumped over the counter and demanded money from clerk while pointing a firearm at him throughout the incident.

"The suspect was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt that he had pulled up over the bottom part of his face and the hood pulled down so that the victim could only see a portion of the suspect's face," Humble PD Detective Sergeant Mike Flynt said. "The clerk was in fear for his life since the suspect was pointing a firearm at him the whole time. The suspect was able to get away with the cash from the drawer and fled on foot."
