Two HPD officers involved in car accident in SE Houston

Two Houston police officers were involved in a car accident in the 800 block of South Wayside Drive Sunday evening.

The officers are being taken to Memorial Hermann hospital with minor injuries. A person in a second vehicle involved also had minor injuries.

Authorities are investigating the cause of the accident.
