Texans announce 2015 ticket prices

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- The Texans announced their new ticket prices for home games next season.

The average ticket price is going from $85.44 in 2014 to $91.87 in 2015, a 7.5 percent increase.

The team points out it's the first increase in two years. The team didn't raise prices following their 2-14 season.

According to the Texans, last year's ticket prices ranked 15th in the NFL, and the prices for the upcoming season will remain competitive.

The Texans have sold out 132 straight games at NRG Stadium, which is a Houston NFL record. It's also the longest sellout streak of any professional sports team in Houston history.

At NRG next regular season, the Texans will host New England, Indianapolis, New Orleans, Jacksonville, Tennessee, Tampa Bay, the New York Jets and Kansas City.
