STAFFORD, TX (KTRK) -- A lot of people enjoyed the hot weather and tried out some very spicy sauces at the 14th annual Houston Hot Sauce Festival.

Some people are probably regretting their decision to taste a sauce called "death nectar". There are dozens of vendors selling hundreds of hot sauces at the Stafford Centre. Many of the vendors do warn people about their products.

"You know basically the ramifications of taking our death nectar and digesting it. It'll burn you once, burn you twice and sometimes burn a loved one," said Stetch with Grinder Signature Sauces. "You have killer amazing flavor profile for about seven to ten seconds and a then it's like getting hit in the head by a two by four."

The Hot Sauce Festival continues tomorrow. It runs from noon to 5pm. The event benefits the Snow Drop Foundation which helps patients and families at Texas Children's Cancer Center.
