Gunshot victim found lying in SE Houston roadway

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Homicide detectives responded after a body was found lying on a roadway in southeast Houston.

An investigation is underway in the 4200 block of Mowery at Leitrim Way, near Cullen Boulevard.

Houston police say the body was found in the roadway. The victim appears to have died as a result of a gunshot wound, according to investigators.

The victim is described as a Hispanic male in his 20's.
