HOUSTON (KTRK) -- On this Free Stuff Friday, there are loads of great free holiday events awaiting you this weekend and beyond!

Mayor's Tree Lighting

The 96th annual event is at Hermann Square at City Hall tonight from 6 to 8pm. Enjoy music, Santa and more!

Christmas Tree Lighting

The City of Katy will host a Christmas tree lighting celebration at Harvest Plaza on Saturday at 6pm. Come enjoy crafts, music and Santa Claus, too!

Jingle on the Boardwalk

Every weekend in December, visitors to Kemah Boardwalk can enjoy free family activities, performances and movies.

Free Movie: The Polar Express

Next Wednesday, Dec. 9, CityCentre will play host to moviegoers with a free screening of the Tom Hanks holiday classic "The Polar Express." Movie starts at 6pm.

Jingle Mingle

Cherryhurst Park is hosting an ugly sweater contest and more from 2pm to 5pm on Saturday.

A Night of Bethlehem

An interactive Nativity scene, free coffee and hot ciders and more are in store at Messiah Lutheran Church in Cypress. Come out from 5pm to 8pm for festivities on both Saturday and Sunday.
