KINGWOOD, TX (KTRK) -- A Kingwood homeowner made good on her promise to clean up the property she owns after residents took their complaints to ABC-13.
Joyce Schneider said despite how her driveway looked, some of the pile, like old photographs, was valuable to her. But residents called the property in the North Woodlands Hills subdivision an eyesore.
The home has been vacant for 12 years and has been the subject of several complaints made to the city over the last few years.
In Jan. 2014, a complaint was received about a junk motor vehicle & the vehicle was removed. In 2013, a citation was issued for minimum standards violation & it was corrected. In 2008, a complaint about the vacant property was received but inspectors found that the building was secured.
But now the mess is gone, and neighbors are happy they don't have to a pile of her belongings in the driveway every day.
