HISD introduces its first Asian-American board trustee

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Anne Sung, the first Asian-American school board trustee with the Houston Independent School District, talks about being educated in HISD schools and her background at Harvard University.

Sung also discusses the district's strategy to turn around several low performing schools and keep state officials from closing their doors or converting them into charter schools.
