Hillary Clinton appears on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!'

LOS ANGELES, CA -- Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton was in Hollywood where she appeared on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" Thursday evening.

During her appearance, Kimmel gave Clinton some tips about "how men perceive her speeches."

"You're shouting. You're too loud. You don't have to shout like that. It hurts my ears. It comes off as a little shrill for men," Kimmel said during one of their skits.

The two also joked about the rowdy Republican race and her democratic competitor Bernie Sanders.

"I'd like to see some punches thrown," Kimmel said. Clinton responded by saying, "wow."

"Not with you," Kimmel quipped.

"I better be really careful here," Clinton joked.

"You better be careful Bernie doesn't poke you in the eye with that finger he's always pointing," Kimmel said.

While in town, Clinton did some fundraising and hosted a panel with Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti at the University of Southern California to highlight how Muslims are helping to fight ISIS.

"It's important that we hear these voices and not just the hot rhetoric and the demagoguery," Clinton said.

Clinton expressed that the country as a whole can learn from L.A.'s Islamic outreach programs.

"What L.A. has done is really a model and we need more places around the country to pay attention to what works and to just tune out the calls for hate and mean spiritedness and just keep working the way America works best, when we're all in it together," Clinton said.

The leading Republican candidates have stated they want local police to monitor American Muslim communities for signs of radicalization. Clinton said it's an approach that won't work.

"What you heard today is what works. What they advocate doesn't work, in fact, as we heard, plays right into the hands of the terrorists," Clinton said. "What the terrorists want is for our country and the West generally to turn on each other."

Clinton was met by protesters in Santa Monica who said she's too beholden to Wall Street donors, a line Sanders has long touted.

Sanders walked down Hollywood Boulevard taking selfies with supporters before his appearance on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" on Tuesday. He also held a rally at The Wiltern Theatre in downtown Los Angeles Wednesday evening.

In most recent election results, Clinton won Arizona while Sanders claimed Utah and Idaho on Tuesday.

Both Democrats believe they have a shot at winning California and its delegate rich primary being held June 7.
