Still looking for a killer
These sketches are adjusted to show how the suspects may have aged over four decades.

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- On the 42nd anniversary of the death of a Harris County deputy, investigators are asking for new clues to find his killers.

The Harris County Sheriff's Office held a press conference Tuesday to show two sketches that included an aging process to show what the suspects would look like today. Deputy Williams was fatally shot on January 12, 1974, at the Victoria Manor Apartments during a robbery.

Witnesses were able to give police descriptions of the two suspects.

"Deputy Williams was off-duty at the time," said Harris County Sheriff Ron Hickman. "At the moment that his police identification was realized by the perpetrators, his life had been taken and we're asking the public for help."

Sheriff Ron Hickman addressed the media on Tuesday, asking for help in the cold case murder of a deputy.

Anyone who knows anything about this crime is asked to call the Harris County Sheriff's Office Cold Case Squad 713-274-9150.
