2 sought in club parking lot killing in NW Harris County

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Deputies say two men shot and killed another man in the middle of a club parking lot early this morning in northwest Harris County.

It happened just before 2:30am this morning on FM 1960 near Kuykendahl in northwest Harris County.

Deputies say the victim and two other men got into an altercation inside the Kicks Sports Shack. All three were kicked out.

They say the confrontation continued in the parking lot and that's where the victim was shot and killed.

A tow truck driver witnessed the shooting and tried to unsuccessfully chase down the suspects.

The driver did recover a gun that was thrown from the suspects' vehicle.

Harris County Sheriff's Office Sgt. Greg Pinkins said, "Spoke to one wrecker driver who actually saw the shooting and gave a brief chase of the suspects after they fled in their GT, Pontiac."
