Driver accused of ramming pregnant ex with vehicle on Gulf Freeway arrested

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- There are new developments regarding the man at the center of a wild scene on the Gulf Freeway earlier this month.

Police have arrested that driver, who rammed a car into his pregnant ex-girlfriend. Anthony Escobedo was arrested after violating a protective order for robbery and bodily injury.

Escobedo had gone into his ex-girlfriend's hotel room and took the keys to her car. She tried to stop him using her body, but as you see he didn't stop.

She was checked out and physically OK after the video was taken.
