HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A mother of three died this morning in a rollover accident on I-45 North near Aldine Bender.
We've learned the victim is Jennifer Johnson, 30. She leaves behind three boys, ages 1, 3, and 10.
Police say Johnson was driving a white Ford Expedition northbound on the North Freeway around 10:20am when, for unknown reasons, she failed to stay in her lane and crossed into another moving lane of traffic. The Ford then left the roadway, struck a concrete divider and rolled over. The victim was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene.
Johnson's children were transported to Houston Northwest Medical Center with non life-threatening injuries. No other vehicles were involved in this crash, according to police.
Police say the investigation is ongoing.
The wreck has now been cleared from the roadway and traffic is now flowing.
