Football player gets second chance with team after hitting referee

SAN ANTONIO, TX (KTRK) -- A San Antonio high school football player is getting a second chance on the gridiron. The player was suspended after tackling a referee

The UIL ruled that John Jay High School player's suspension will end this year. The player is able to rejoin the team on a probationary basis for the 2017-18 school year.
