These Houston restaurants are open Thanksgiving Day
HOUSTON (KTRK) -- It's that time of the year when the temperatures start to drop, the jackets come out, family plans are made and the aroma from the kitchen leaves you in a trance.
But perhaps cooking is a no-go this year. There are several restaurants across the Houston area that will be open on Thanksgiving serving a traditional dinner.
From the turkey to desserts, we have you covered:
The Capital Grille
The Capital Grille Houston CityCentre and The Galleria locations will be open this year from 11:00am-9:00pm, offering its full dinner menu in addition to the Executive Chef's take on a traditional Thanksgiving meal. In addition to serving its signature dishes, The Capital Grille will also offer a slow-roasted Turkey with Brioche stuffing, French green beans with Marcona almonds and cranberry pear chutney for $38 per adult and $15 per child. These dishes will also be accompanied by Sam's Mashed Potatoes to share.
For dessert, The Capital Grille will offer a pumpkin cheesecake for an additional $10.
Eddie V's
Eddie V's Houston CityCentre and West Ave locations will be open this year from 11:00am-8:00pm, offering its full dinner menu in addition to the Executive Chef's take on a traditional Thanksgiving meal.
In addition to serving its signature dishes, Eddie V's will also offer sliced turkey with pan gravy, baby French green beans with sun dried tomatoes, Brioche sage stuffing, roasted butternut squash, cranberry chutney and hand-whipped potatoes for $38 per adult and $15 per child. For dessert, Eddie V's will offer a white chocolate cranberry cheesecake for an additional $10.
Killen's Steakhouse
Sides-To-Go: Creamed Corn, Au Gratin Potatoes, Mac 'n' Cheese, Broccoli Cheese Risotto, Beet Salad
Desserts: Creme Brlée Bread Pudding, Carrot Cake
Sides-To-Go: Balsamic Bacon Brussels Sprouts, Truffled Mac 'n' Cheese, Mashed Sweet Potatoes
Red Lion British Pub
The authentic British pub will feature a traditional turkey dinner and desserts in addition to the regular menu from 11am-11pm and remain open until 2am.
Radio Milano
For those wanting to dine-out rather than in, Radio Milano is also offering a three-course Thanksgiving lunch menu from 10am until 3pm on November 24, priced at $45 per person. Highlights include Sunchoke creamy soup, roasted turkey breast and pumpkin pie. An a la carte kid's menu with items like turkey, spaghetti, burgers and French toast will also be available. On Sunday, November 27, get in the holiday spirit with a festive brunch buffet and Santa photo op for the kids. Brunch will be served from 10am-3pm, featuring pasta, egg, carving and salad stations.
Molina's Cantina
Tamales - For a limited time during the holiday season, Molina's iconic traditional pork tamales are just $10.95 a dozen ($2 off regular price). What's a Texas holiday feast without them?
Fajita Holiday - If turkey isn't your thing, throw a Thanksgiving fiesta-fajitas, enchiladas, Jose's Dip, taquitos, complete with all the fixings. Molina's will even supply the margaritas!
