Happy birthday to first babies born in 2015!

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Houston parents are proud to welcome the first newborns of the new year.

Skylar Pemberton Bailey was born at 12:05am, Children's Memorial Hermann Hospital announced. She weighed seven pounds and three ounces. Skylar was the first baby born at any Memorial Hermann Hospital.

Texas Children's Pavilion for Women delivered their first baby of the year at 1:54am. A name and details on the baby boy haven't yet been released.
