New details released about "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." season 2

Get ready Marvel fans, because the "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." season two synopsis is here!

The season will premiere with an episode titled "Shadows." According to Marvel, Coulson and his team are now wanted fugitives with limited resources--but that's not stopping them from keeping the world safe from powerful and unseen threats everywhere. However, with new members they hardly know, will S.H.I.E.L.D. ever be trusted again?

Asides from the explosive plot, fans are very excited to see Hayley Atwell reprise her role as Peggy Carter from the "Captain America" films and ABC's upcoming new series "Agent Carter," premiering in January 2015.

The end of last season saw Agent Coulson sketching an alien looking image or map of some kind onto a chalkboard, and is one of the biggest mysteries fans hope to have solved in the new season.

"Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." premiered on September 24th, 2013. Initially gaining buzz as another vehicle in the ever-expanding Marvel universe, "S.H.I.E.L.D." found its own legs as an action-packed TV thrill ride, both independent of and complimentary to the larger Marvel films.
