'Les Harvey-ables': Actors stage musical amid piles of debris
THE SHOW MUST GO ON: Even in the middle of Harvey recovery, these thespians found a chance to perform.

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- We all have our ways of coping.

After Harvey left a trail of devastation across the Texas Gulf Coast, a group of Houston actors and theater buffs have found relief in performing.

They say all the world's a stage, and Sarah Hames told Eyewitness News she thought the mountainous piles of debris around town would make a terrific backdrop for a show.

So, Hames called some theater friends together, who put together a stunning performance of "One Day More," from the musical "Les Miserables."

"I said, 'Come sweaty and come miserable so everyone can see what we're doing here, slogging through this swamp water,'" Hames explained. "It's been a very therapeutic experience for me, and my friends as well who said the same thing, that it was an inspiring thing to be a part of. I'm really proud that I was able to do it."

What developed was a pretty incredible video they have lovingly named "Les Harvey-ables."
