Applications being accepted for Typhoon Texas in Katy

KATY, TX (KTRK) -- Need a job this summer? The Houston area's newest water park is now hiring.

Typhoon Texas, which is being constructed in Katy right now, is taking applications for 800 seasonal part-time jobs. The positions are for water safety, administration, guest relations, food and beverage, programming, maintenance and park services. You can apply by clicking or tapping here.

The water park, which is next to Katy Mills Mall, will open on May 28. It'll stay up through Labor Day and be open from 10:30am to 6 pm. The park also will be open for special themed nights, group gatherings for schools, churches and company outings.
