FLINT, Michigan (KTRK) -- Lifetime is tapping into the Flint, Michigan water crisis with a new movie set to premiere on the network this week.
"Flint" portrays real-life community activists and the national emergency surrounding the water disaster.
"I feel like to me, more than anything, I want people to be aware of what happened, how it happened so they can know how easily it can happen to them somewhere else in this country," actress Marin Ireland said.
The film, which premieres Oct. 28, also stars Queen Latifah, Jill Scott and Betsy Brandt.
