Back to school season starts for Houston-area districts

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Summer is over for almost hundreds of thousands of Houston-area students as school districts are returning to class.

Cleveland ISD and Livingston ISD are among the first in the area to return to class on Aug. 4

Crosby ISD returns on Aug. 5.

HISD returns on Aug. 10, Fort Bend ISD on Aug. 11, and other large districts including Cy-Fair ISD, Katy ISD, and Spring ISD go back on Aug. 12.

The last of the districts in the area, Pearland ISD, returns on Aug. 19.
