Houston Dynamo midfielder Brad Davis selected to US World Cup team

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Dynamo midfielder Brad Davis is going to the World Cup in Brazil, but you had to find out in dramatic social media fashion.

The US Soccer Twitter account posted a picture with the final 23 men on the roster. On the third row, Davis was the first picture to appear.

Also making the roster is former Dynamo defender Geoff Cameron, who now plays in in the EPL for Stoke City.

Missing from the roster is Landon Donovan, who is considered the greatest US soccer player ever .

The US begins World Cup play against Ghana on June 16.
