Alleged drug lab taken down in San Jacinto County

LIBERTY COUNTY (KTRK) -- An investigation into an overdose male led to the reported discovery of an active clandestine drug lab at a home at 1680 Lee Turner Road, according to a press release from the San Jacinto County Sheriff's Office.

In the late evening hours of March 25, the sheriff's office was dispatched to the home. Upon arrival, Deputy Larry Fechner was advised that a male subject had overdosed on an unknown substance.

"The male subject was transported to Kingwood Hospital. He was found to be unresponsive and placed on life support," the statement reads. "The male subject was ultimately pronounced deceased on March 27, 2016, at Kingwood Medical Center."
