Dickinson teacher resigns after allegations surface about inappropriate relationship with student

DICKINSON, Texas (KTRK) -- A Dickinson High School teacher has resigned after allegations surfaced about an inappropriate relationship with a student, school officials say.

According to Dickinson Independent School District officials, the teacher was placed on administrative leave on Wednesday. That teacher then resigned.

The district says they are cooperating with League City police as they investigate.

There's no word on the age of the student or how long the alleged relationship lasted. The district has refused to offer any other details regarding the allegations.
