Deer Park advances in HS baseball playoffs

It was a great day for the high school playoffs.

Deer Park advances with 2-1 series win over Strake Jesuit.

In game one, undefeated 35-0 Deer Park took the lead with a 9-3 win over Strake Jesuit.

In game 2, which was streamed live on abc13.com, Strake Jesuit's tough defensive effort would hold off Deer Park and snap their winning streak.

The Deer took the series in game three and their offense would combine for a total of 12 hits 11 RBI and 10 runs scored and 26 hits.

Deer Park will face Langham Creek in the UIL Region 3 final.
