Investigators say they know suspect in deadly shooting

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Police say they know the suspected gunman in a deadly shooting on Houston's south side.

Investigators hope to quickly bring in a suspect accused of opening fire on another man during an argument on Southlawn and Scott Street.

The shooting happened outside an apartment complex just before 11pm.

HPD says the intense argument ended when the gunman shot the man several times.

The victim died of his injuries before he could reach the hospital. His identity has not been released yet.

Investigators were unable to tell us what the two men were arguing about.
