Slow-motion re-enactment pays tribute to those who stormed Normandy beaches

NORMANDY, France (KTRK) -- We wanted to show you a moving tribute to the soldiers who sacrificed so much storming the beaches of Normandy on this day 70 years ago.

Take a look at the slow motion performance Friday which was part of the tribute to mark the anniversary.

Clips of the actual storming of the beach were played in the background, as performers expressed the agony of D-day, all in front of world leaders and veterans who survived an invasion that change the course of World War II.
