All-female crew staffs Cy-Fair Volunteer Fire Department fire engine

CYPRESS, TX (KTRK) -- It's a historic night for the Cy-Fair Volunteer Fire Department.

For the first time, an all-female crew is staffing a fire engine.

The women are on the job at Fire Station 7 on Cypresswood Drive. The crew is accomplished, highly trained and proud to be a part of it all.

Fire department leaders say they are proud of all of their firefighters for working hard to balance family, education, and careers, along with volunteerism.
