Highway 290 now open after wayward cows rounded up

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Highway 290 was closed today at the Brazos River Bridge after more than 100 cows managed to get out on the road.

The Waller County Sheriff's Office says deputies worked to clear the cattle from the road.
