CONCORD, CA (KTRK) -- Police are hoping to capture two women accused of assaulting a store clerk with assorted food and a soda bottle in California.
The incident happened November 20 at a 7-Eleven store in Concord when the clerk refused to sell cigars to the women without an ID, reports KRON-TV.
The women reportedly became angry and left the store to get a male friend from their car.
The three returned and police say a heated argument ensued. Surveillance cameras were rolling as the situation escalated into a food fight.
At one point, the clerk was struck in the head with a bottle of orange soda.
The victim was hospitalized with a minor head injury.
Police hope the release of the surveillance footage will lead to their arrest.
