HOUSTON (KTRK) -- There's a new way to get your daily dose of caffeine. Mobile Mug is not a coffee shop, it is more of an espresso machine on wheels, rolling through Midtown.
"The idea is to have multiple trucks throughout the city with consistent locations so that customers can easily find and get to us," owner Grant Cooper explains.
Cooper is one of the guys behind Mobile Mug. He's found success by keeping it simple.
"We have the coffee and we have the homemade hot cinnamon rolls, so two things, it's kind of the less is more," Cooper said.
Customers like Annette Kroll are already addicted.
"I am a coffee snob... the taste of the coffee is excellent, first and foremost," she shared.
Cooper wants to make your coffee drinking experience personal. Mobile Mug can even customize the headlines printed on the truck for parties or special occasions.
"If they want it to say, marry me Hilary, it could be posted on there, or it could say congratulations, or happy birthday," Cooper showed us.
Cooper hopes to expand his coffee brewing empire with another truck within the year.
