Harris County chase ends with 2 suspects in custody

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A chase ended in northwest Harris County with two suspects apprehended by law enforcement. One of the suspects was injured while running from deputies.

The chase started at I-45 and FM 1960. The suspects drove to a home on Lacewing and Toucan, broke in and tried to hold officers at bay, according to the Harris County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies went inside the home and brought both suspects out.

One of the suspects, injured after jumping through the home's window, sustained cuts and bruises, and was treated by medics. The other suspect was arrested. Neither suspect has yet been identified.

It's unclear whether anyone was home at the time of the break-in.
