Cargo ship run aground in England

THE SOLENT, England (KTRK) -- A cargo ship in England ran aground this weekend and authorities are working to secure the vessel, which has gone vertical with one end sticking out of the water.

Coast guard crews arrived on the scene late last night.

A rescue is allegedly in process for eight crew members but there are conflicting reports the 25 crew members may have been all airlifted to safety.

Officials say ships have run aground in the area in the past -- but nothing this dramatic.
