One dead in fiery crash in northeast Harris County

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Precinct 4 deputy constables thought they were just responding to a multi-vehicle wreck in northeast Harris County, but they came upon a gruesome discovery when they arrived at FM 1960 near Farrel around 2:30am.

A fiery crash torched one car and flipped another vehicle on its side. Deputy constables discovered one person was not able to escape the burning car and died at the scene.

Three other people were injured in the accident. It's not yet clear what led up to the wreck.
