HOUSTON --
A driver involved in a crash at a gas station turned out to be a shooting victim in southwest Houston, according to authorities. The vehicle came to a stop after hitting a gas pump on Bissonnet and Woodfair.
Police say the driver had been shot. His passenger claims they were at a nearby apartment complex when someone started shooting at them. The driver was hit and they came to the gas station for help.
Authorities say the shooting victim is listed in stable condition.
