It happened around 2am on West Little York near Cunningham.
Deputies say the driver was going around a curve when she lost control. The car went airborne and flipped before landing upside-down in a ditch filled with water.
The woman, who was trapped, died at the scene.
Her male passenger was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
The investigation is ongoing.
