A driver slammed into the back of a fire truck on the South Freeway near the Highway 59 ramp around 2am.
A firefighter on the truck suffered minor injuries. The driver of the vehicle was also hurt. They're expected to recover.
The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
All northbound lanes were shut down for several hours. Those lanes have since reopened.
