The chase started around 1am on Airline in North Houston. It ended a few blocks away on Crosstimbers near the Hardy Toll Road.
Police say the driver sped away from a traffic stop and ran several red lights. He jumped out of his car, which eventually crashed into a concrete wall.
Authorities used a helicopter and K-9 units to search for the man, but they couldn't find him. They did find marijuana and $1,700 in cash in his car.
