Detectives need public's help to find missing Fort Bend Co. woman

Family members say Maria Paula Atrian, 45, has not been heard from since the middle of December 2012.

The Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office is seeking help from the public in locating a missing woman.

In September 2012, Maria Paula Atrian left her home in Fort Bend County to take a job as a maid in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Family members told detectives that in mid-December 2012, Atrian called her daughter and that she was upset and crying, but offered no explanation as to why she was upset.

They say Atrian, 45, stated she would be purchasing a bus ticket to return home to the bus station in Houston, but she has not been seen or heard from since.
