Slight delays for METRO light rail riders due to power shortage

METRO light rail riders will have to wait a little longer to catch their train this morning.

METRO says high winds knocked a high voltage line on to a unit that provides power to the rail monitoring system. That led to METRO's light rail system running with less power today.

METRO says trains will arrive every 12 minutes at its stops, instead of every 6 minutes. Crews are working to get back to full power.
