Andre Demont Thompson, 24, is charged with murder. Police say on the evening of October 5 Thompson got into an argument with Thomas Williams, Jr. inside the park at an apartment complex at 10601 Sabo. At some point, Thompson allegedly produced a pistol and shot Williams several times.
Williams, 15, died at the scene.
Police say further investigation and witness statements identified Thompson as the suspect in this case, He was arrested without incident on Wednesday.
