Suspect accused of burglarizing school buildings

Rosenberg police believe they have a man in custody who's responsible for burglarizing school buildings.

Rosenberg police say Johnie Lee Rodgers, 51, has admitted to burglarizing Lamar Junior High School, 4814 Mustang Avenue, and Lamar Development Center, 930 East Stadium Drive on August 9. He also reportedly admitted to burglarizing Lamar High School, 4606 Mustang Avenue, on June 11.

Johnie Rodgers was arrested on Sunday for an outstanding warrant. He is charged with burglary of a building. He is currently being held in the Fort Bend County Jail with a bond of $50,000.
